*Weight is not a metric used to classify this breedDo they shed?
Yes. They shed a little every day. This can be maintained with routine brushing. They do “blow their coat” twice a year in preparation for summer and winter. More brushing will be necessary at this time to manage the additional shedding. Are they good with Children?
This will depend on the individual AKK, exposure to children, training, etc…Our puppies are part of our family until they enter yours. As part of the family they will be around our two children from day one. This is not a guarantee that they will do well with children when they are older, however it is a good start. Our adult AKK are great with children. Are they good with other animals?
This again will depend on the individual. In general they are good with other animals, but this breed does tend to be more reserved than say a lab or a golden retriever. The more socialization and exposure they have from the beginning the better they will get along with a variety of other animals.Do they dig or chew?
Yes. This will depend on the individual dog, but both digging and chewing are common and can become excessive if they do not get adequate exercise. Having a variety of toys is helpful to keep their attention. What is the life expectancy of an Alaskan Klee Kai?
Alaskan Klee Kai generally live for about 15-17 years. How much do your Alaskan Klee Kai cost?
